Hi, and welcome back to Cupa Cabana TV. I’m Marianne Cordillo, owner and founder of Cupa Cabana Espresso and Coffee Catering. Today, we’re going to talk about the value in paying for a caterer. Very few things can stress you out more than trying to handle a catering for your own event. We have five ideas or reasons why hiring a caterer is well worth it. The first one is experience. And think of Murphy’s Law. What can go wrong, will go wrong. And very few things can stress you out more than things happening at your event that you can’t foresee. Caterers have the experience to deal with these issues, deal with chaos, and in most cases they’ve seen it all before. So, they know what to do and how to do it. The second is food safety and quality. Caterers are skilled and certified in handling food properly and delivering it to a certain standard. This applies to safety of food for your guests, nut allergies, and safe food and handling and spoiling. The third item is the staff. The catering staff are not just people who show up and throw food on the table. They’re skilled, they’re trained to serve your guests professionally and appropriately. There’s a lot of training and knowledge that goes into it, and that’s very important with your staff.

Behind the scenes, there’s so much planning and staffing and overhead that is involved behind the scenes, before your party even gets off the ground. That is, insurance, costs, equipment. There’s so much more that goes into it that you really don’t want to have to bother with. The last one is peace of mind. Caterers provide these services quickly and efficiently and professionally. That way you can enjoy your party and not have to worry about anything. Thanks for watching Cupa Cabana TV. I hope to see you soon.
