The Royal Family has been in the news lately; unfortunately, it hasn’t all been positive. When word strikes about the Royal Family, it not only affects England but the entire world. So, when we think about extravagant weddings, the royals tend to take the forefront. Our blog recently covered some of the most expensive weddings of all time in a previous post; now, let’s dive into the specifics.

Today we’re going to take a look into 3 of the most expensive wedding dresses worn by Royal Family brides on their special day. Ranging from around $100,000 to over 5 million dollars, these wedding dresses come loaded with style, personality, and often a very long train (upwards of over 20 feet, to be exact)!

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, opted for a designer look on her big day. Designed by Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy, this simple yet elegant dress comes in priced at around $135,000.

Although this comes at the lower end of Royal Family dress budgets, Markle’s veil took almost 4,000 hours to embroider. Her cover included national flowers from all 53 commonwealth countries, which required plenty of time and effort, to say the least.

Can you believe the popular Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton’s dress is priced at over $400,000? This dress by Alexander McQueen features a lace-covered bodice with long sleeves and a stunning trail that stretches almost 10 ft long.

Some may opt to buy a house for $400,000, Kate Middleton chose differently.

Maybe not as popular as Meghan Markle or Kate Middleton in recent news, Queen Letizia’s dress is still one that cannot be forgotten. Featuring a high collar with long sleeves and real gold embroidered into silk, Queen Letizia didn’t hold back when it came to her wedding dress.

A diamond-encrusted tiara tops everything off, with a total price coming in at a whopping $8 million.
