While there are a few months before this event, we are already excited for the International Bridal Week to come to New York! Coming to the Big Apple in October (8th-10th) 2016 on Pier 94. So what makes New York International Bridal Week such a go-to event?
From high-end couture brands featured in a “Designer Gallery” to moderate marquee brands – there will be plenty to peruse. Aside from this, an array of exhibitors will be featuring gowns for the bride, bridesmaids, flower girls and mother of the bride, not to mention special occasion formal wear. Also on-hand will be headpieces, veils, and accessory vendors.
Who are some of the countries whose designers will be involved in the New York International Bridal Week fashion lineup? It’s an international event – so there will be a bunch!
One thing that always seems to worry people is parking in NYC. The great thing about having the event in this location is that there are some great parking options right around the show. Not wanting to drive into the city? Be sure to check on parking options across the Hudson River in New Jersey – with the availability of ferry services, taxi, or bus in Hoboken, Weehawken, or Jersey City.
ON-SITE PARKING
There are 900 on-site parking spaces available for cars if people are driving to the show, with an additional 15 spaces available for commercial trucks or shuttle buses. The price for open rooftop parking at Pier 92 is $35 (10 hours) or $40 for a full day (24 hours). You can access parking via the intersection of 55th Street and the West Side Highway. The event website notes: “All vehicles should follow signs for the NYC Passenger Ship Terminal parking. *Please note – parking spaces are dependent upon cruise activity.”
